Health Council Secretariat
The First Nations Health Council Secretariat provides direct support for the work of the FNHC, including providing strategic advice, technical analysis, and coordination in support of the FNHC’s mandate to provide political oversight and leadership for the implementation of the Tripartite First Nations Health Plan, the Consensus Paper, and Resolution 2011-01. The FNHC Secretariat is composed of four staff, all of whom have served previous roles within the FNHA:

Harmony Johnson is from the Sliammon First Nation and serves as the Executive Director of the First Nations Health Council (FNHC). In this role, Harmony provides strategic advice and coordination for the work of the FNHC to provide political oversight and leadership for the implementation of the Tripartite First Nations Health Plan. Her previous roles have included providing technical support to Sliammon’s treaty negotiations, acting as CEO of the First Nations Forestry Council, and serving as Director of Policy at the First Nations Summit.
