H1N1 Training
The First Nations Health Council (FNHC), First Nations Inuit Health- BC Region (FNIH) and JEL Protection Ltd. are partnering to offer an opportunity to build health care capacity in First Nations communities. This initiative will provide two days of training in approximately 18 central venues across BC, including five sessions in each of Vancouver Island, the Interior, and the North and three sessions in Fraser/the Lower Mainland. This training is targeted to Band or Health Centre staff who do not typically deliver health services. The intent of the training is to develop basic health care skills, specific to H1N1 influenza prevention and containment which can complement currently provided health services.
More dates and venues to be published soon.
