The Provincial Health Officers Report was released on June 25th. The report, entitled Pathways to Health and Healing: 2nd Report of Health and Well-being of Aboriginal People in British Columbia is published every five years by the office of Provincial Health Officer, and analyzes 64 indicators, including determinants of health; healthy beginnings (pregnancy, infants and children); diseases and injuries; and health services.

Request for Proposals eHealth IM-IT Strategic Planning Project
The FNHC requires services of a Business Consultant for support in the assessment of, and planning for, First Nations eHealth. The support services are in the context of the delivery of a tripartite First Nations eHealth Current State Assessment and Health IM/IT Planning Project. The Project represents an effort to enhance and refine existing documentation around the current state of First Nations eHealth in terms of relevant projects within BC, and the infrastructure, applications, and core business requirements of First Nations Health Centres in British Columbia.
