Tripartite H1N1 Update

The Tripartite First Nations H1N1 Working Group memo for October is now available. The memo corrects some misinformation which is currently circulating about vaccinations and antiviral drugs. | pdf download | First Nations community members around BC need and deserve accurate information about H1N1 Influenza. The memo describes H1N1 vaccine timing and availability, and also describes the proper use of the antiviral drug Tamiflu.
The memo is signed and endorsed by the Chief Executive Officer of the First Nations Health Council - Joe Gallagher, the Aboriginal Physician Advisor to the Provincial Health Office - Dr. Evan Adams, and the Director of Health Surveillance, First Nations and Inuit Health, Health Canada – Dr. Shannon Waters.
