UN Report -The State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples
United Nations recently released its first comprehensive report on the State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. The report calls for full participation of Indigenous People in the design and management of health systems.For a focus on health please see pages 155-183.

“...the right to self-determination with respect to health implies creating conditions for the full and effective participation of indigenous communities in the design and management of health systems, in addition to adherence to the principle of free, prior and informed consent in the planning and implementation of health and development programmes and projects.”
